Developed in Spain, Regenera Activa is a treatment that uses capillary regeneration to combat hair loss. The technology has been extensively researched and tested with a series of clinical studies. It is completely natural and biocompatible with our body as micro-grafts of our own cells are used.
It is recommended for those coping with mild to average hair loss. Individuals with scarring alopecia, alopecia areata, on long-term anticoagulant, diagnosed with cancer or immunity diseases are advised against this treatment.
In a sterile environment, micro-grafts are extracted from the scalp with active hair follicles. These contain cells that help to regenerate new hair follicles and reactivate inactive hair cells.
The extracted cells are suspended in a solution to make it more absorbable during the reintroduction procedure.
During the reintroduction process, the extracted solution is carefully injected into areas with lesser hair growth. Denser hair growth can be noticed from as early as a month later and effects continue for a period of 12 months.
The entire process takes 30-45 minutes and the patient is advised to refrain from washing their hair for the next 24 hours, strenuous exercise for 48 hours and contact with chemicals for 2 weeks.
